Tom is a Clinical Family Therapist with a Bachelor of Science (Psychology/Psychophysiology) from Swinburne University and a Masters in Clinical Family Therapy from La Trobe University (Bouverie Centre). He is a member of the Australian Association of Family Therapy (AAFT) and Psychotherapy And Counselling Federation of Australia (PACFA).  Tom has also trained in Restorative Practices and is a member of the Australian Association of Restorative Justice (AARJ). He works frequently with couples, families and individuals.

Tom engages with warmth and authenticity to establish a safe space for everyone to feel heard. He will work with you to co-create new ways of communicating to strengthen relationships while also improving the well-being of each individual. Using curiosity and transparency, you will explore and make sense of past experiences to foster a sense of hope for the future. Tom is LGBTQIA+ friendly and welcomes individuals and families who identify these ways. Tom works Mondays and Tuesdays at Symmetry and currently has his waitlist closed. 

Tom is registered with PACFA which means many private health insurers may contribute to your costs post payment for the session.
