Kimberley is a LGBTQIA+ inclusive psychologist with experience working with clients from a wide range of diverse backgrounds, cultures, sexual orientations and gender identities. Kimberley enjoys working with young people and adults at any stage of their therapy journey, whether they’re completely new to therapy or looking to build on previous work. She supports individuals who are curious about exploring themselves, interested in cultivating self-compassion, and hoping to make meaningful changes in their lives.

Her areas of interest include anxiety disorders, relationship/interpersonal difficulties, neurodivergence, self-esteem, self-worth and identity, personality disorders, behaviour change (including habit formation and skills building), and fostering insight and self-understanding.

Taking a strengths-based and motivational approach, Kimberley believes that a collaborative and trusting therapeutic relationship is at the heart of meaningful change. Whether face-to-face or online, she creates a safe, inclusive, and relaxed space where clients feel understood, supported, and genuinely at ease.

Her integrative style draws on acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), dialectical behaviour therapy (DBT), motivational interviewing, and schema therapy, allowing her to tailor therapy to each client’s unique needs. Authenticity in session is central to her practice, and when appropriate, she enjoys bringing a sense of humour to help make therapy feel organic and engaging.

Kimberley works at Symmetry on Fridays.
